On August 14th, 2018, Delia Owens published Where The Crawdads Sing. Since then, it has sold over 10 million copies with a 5/5 rating on Amazon from 297,807 ratings. Four years later, Olivia Newman, a director, turned this book into a blockbuster movie with a 7.1/10 rating from IMDb. The book takes place in 1960's and goes over Kyra's life who is also known as the Marsh Girl. There's two timelines that intervene around the end of the book. This book contains a murder, romance, and has a lot of focus on marsh life (insects, birds, etc.). In this episode, I discuss what I liked about the book, disliked, and any lessons I got from the book. Also, I review the movie and discuss why I loved it.
